Slow Cooker Pizza Casserole

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 24 oz jar pasta sauce
  • 3 cups pizza sauce divided
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese divided (colby jack, mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Oregano
  • Grated parmesan
  • 15 oz jar alfredo sauce
  • 1 lb box uncooked ziti
  • 1 1/2 cups mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni or combination of pepperoni and sausage

Instructions
  1. Pour pasta sauce and alfredo sauce into greased slow cooker.
  2. Add one pound of uncooked ziti and 1/2 cup of water.
  3. Top the noodles with mini pepperoni and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese.
  4. Mix together the sauces, ziti, pepperoni, water and cheese.
  5. Top with 1 1/2 cups of pizza sauce.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, until the pasta is tender. 
  7. Mine was ready in three hours.
  8. If you love saucy pasta, add an additional 1 1/2 cups of pizza sauce and stir it in.
  9. Sprinkle the pizza casserole with more shredded cheese, a little oregano and grated parmesan.
  10. Replace the lid to allow the cheese to melt.
  11. Enjoy!
