Slow Cooker Pizza Casserole
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 24 oz jar pasta sauce
- 3 cups pizza sauce divided
- 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese divided (colby jack, mozzarella or cheddar)
- Oregano
- Grated parmesan
- 15 oz jar alfredo sauce
- 1 lb box uncooked ziti
- 1 1/2 cups mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni or combination of pepperoni and sausage
Instructions
- Pour pasta sauce and alfredo sauce into greased slow cooker.
- Add one pound of uncooked ziti and 1/2 cup of water.
- Top the noodles with mini pepperoni and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese.
- Mix together the sauces, ziti, pepperoni, water and cheese.
- Top with 1 1/2 cups of pizza sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, until the pasta is tender.
- Mine was ready in three hours.
- If you love saucy pasta, add an additional 1 1/2 cups of pizza sauce and stir it in.
- Sprinkle the pizza casserole with more shredded cheese, a little oregano and grated parmesan.
- Replace the lid to allow the cheese to melt.
- Enjoy!
